TYPE R CENTER CONSOLE NOTICE

If you have a JDM Type R center console, please include "Type R Center Console" in the Special Instructions box at checkout. Otherwise, you will receive a USDM Shift Boot Delete Plate.

The JDM Type R and USDM center consoles have different shift boot openings, so please also verify that you are ordering the correct version for your shifter assembly.

Precision-cut from durable 1/8" ABS plastic and finished with genuine hand-laid carbon fiber that is professionally epoxied over the surface, this cover plate is designed for a simple, tool-free installation—just slide it into place.

IMPORTANT SHIFTER FITMENT/COMPATIBILITY NOTICE:

This version of the Shift Boot Delete Plate is designed specifically around the Acuity 2 and 4-Way Adjustable Short Shifter. If you are using a Hybrid Racing Short Shifter, you must purchase the Hybrid Racing-specific version of this product instead. Due to differences in shifter geometry, factory OEM shifter assemblies will require slight trimming of the opening for optimal clearance and operation, or contact me for an oversized option specifically for OEM assemblies.

The Hybrid Racing and Acuity shifter assemblies position the shifter differently within the center console, resulting in different opening locations and clearance requirements. Purchasing the incorrect version may result in improper fitment or require significant modification of the plate.

Due to the highly adjustable nature of the Acuity 4-Way Adjustable Short Shifter, slight adjustments to the shifter rod position may be required to achieve the fitment and clearance shown in the product photos. If your shifter is adjusted differently, additional trimming of the plate may be necessary depending on your specific shifter configuration.

Please verify which shifter assembly is installed in your vehicle before placing your order.

Important: The factory trim piece that retains the OEM shift boot must be present for installation. The Shift Boot Delete Plate is designed to be secured and retained by this trim piece. If the factory trim piece is missing, damaged, or modified, proper fitment and retention of the plate cannot be guaranteed.

Each product is individually handmade, hand-trimmed, hand-sanded, and finished with genuine carbon fiber that is carefully hand-laid and bonded using epoxy resin. While I take great pride in producing a clean, high-quality product, buyers should understand that this is not a mass-produced or injection-molded item.

Because each carbon fiber layer and epoxy finish is applied entirely by hand without the use of vacuum bagging or vacuum infusion, minor imperfections such as slight weave variations, small resin inconsistencies, tiny surface imperfections, or minor cosmetic differences may be present from piece to piece. These characteristics are a normal part of the handmade manufacturing process and do not affect the functionality or durability of the product.

Every Shift Boot Delete Plate is carefully finished, inspected, and test-fitted on my own vehicle before being shipped. If a part does not meet my personal quality standards, it will not be sold. While each piece may have slight cosmetic variations, you can be confident that every product you receive has passed my own inspection and is something I would proudly install in my own RSX.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Remove the factory shift boot from the center console opening.

Clean the mounting area and ensure there are no obstructions that could interfere with installation.

Align the Shift Boot Delete Plate with the center console opening.

Firmly slide the plate into place. The plate is intentionally designed with a tight tolerance and will require moderate pressure during installation.

Continue applying even pressure until the plate is fully seated and flush with the console.

INSTALLATION TIP

For easier installation, consider removing the center console trim piece from the vehicle before installing the Shift Boot Delete Plate. With the console piece removed, it is much easier to access the opening and apply the necessary pressure from multiple angles to fully seat the plate. This can make installation quicker and help ensure the plate is installed evenly and securely.

IMPORTANT:

• This product features real carbon fiber sealed beneath a durable epoxy resin finish. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive heat that could dull or damage the finish. Clean only with a soft microfiber cloth and a mild automotive detailing spray.
